WELL, what is it and why does it matter?

The WELL Building Standard™ version 2 (WELL v2™) is a building scheme backed by scientific research, enabling you to create spaces that improve occupant health and well-being. This is done through specific design choices, operational protocols and policies that can give your building a bronze, silver, gold or platinum rating.

When open collaborative spaces lack acoustical absorption at ceilings, workers can become distracted by reflected sound. Ceilings typically provide the greatest area of coverage where highly absorptive materials can offer the best performance in reducing reverberation and controlling speech intelligibility and occupied noise levels.

As of November 2020, we upgraded our partnership with the International WELL Building Institute to Key Stone member. This represents our commitment to creating products and solutions that increase the value, well-being and productivity of every space. We are excited to continually improve our business, which is why we are so proud to be associated with the ambitious members of the Institute who share our values and aspirations for well-being.

We are also proud to support our own colleagues in professional development and education, so they can become WELL Accredited Professionals and help us spread the message of designing the healthy buildings of tomorrow.
