Nature's Inspiration for Stone Wool
In the aftermath of volcanic eruptions, fine strands — known as Pele's hair — drift on the winds. These delicate threads form when molten lava is stretched and spun by natural forces, taking their name from Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of fire and volcanoes.
We emulate the formation of these volcanic strands by spinning basalt rock into resilient stone wool fibers. Just as Pele's hair reflects nature's ability to endure and adapt, our ceiling products translate that resilience into innate performance, combining strength and the elegance of natural design.
