The transport and logistics company Ramberg has recently built a completely new head office in Sande in Vestfold. The brand new premises have taken design, colors and decor to new heights. Rockfon has delivered acoustic solutions for the 1,200 square meter office space.
Matching color themes in all rooms
When decorating Ramberg's new office premises, it is a priority to use different colors on ceilings, walls and interiors. The office premises consist of a wide range of colors, where meeting rooms and office premises each have their own color theme. Here, exciting color choices that are in line with current trends have helped to create an environment that provides inspiration and creates well-being in the workplace.
- For Ramberg's new office premises, we have delivered a varied selection of colored ceilings from our new product line Color All. It is extra stylish that the meeting rooms and the different rooms each have their own color theme. The colored ceilings go hand in hand with the colors of the walls, as well as the interior details such as furniture, carpets and lamps. For example, the color theme of the canteen is green, with greenish colors on the ceilings, walls, and on chairs and lamps. In the meeting rooms, they have used completely different color themes, says Bjørn Egge, district manager for Rockfon in Eastern Norway.
In Ramberg's offices, they have dared to experiment with colors, where the colored ceilings are used as an aesthetic tool.
- Ramberg has taken colors seriously, and created different interactions and moods in each room. When you enter the different rooms, you get a real "boost effect", and get a completely different impression than if the rooms had been completely white. You can not help but be happy with all the beautiful colors, says Egge, and adds:
- Color All the ceilings are glued to the ceiling behind the technical installations. It gives an extra stylish and industrial effect, especially when the ventilation system is painted in the same color as the ceilings. The whole color concept in the different premises is thus very implemented.
Colors affect us
We know that colors can affect everything from mood to concentration. The use of colors in interior design is therefore important and of great importance for both well-being, comfort and energy in the workplace.
- Color is light, and light is energy. Therefore, colors are energy that affect everything we do. Among other things, colors have the potential to make us relax, focus, and gain more energy. And therefore it is obvious to use colors actively in the decor to evoke emotions and moods, says Sara Garanty, interior architect and color expert.
Garanty also believes that if you use colors more consciously in the decor, it is possible to design rooms that make a real difference for the user of the room. Colors can help us increase productivity, reduce stress or sleep.
Rockfon notices that colors are becoming more and more popular in interior design and on ceilings.
- More and more architects are demanding colored ceilings for their projects, small and large. Before it was mostly white and black, but now it's colors that matter. Colors have the property of brightening up offices or public premises such as shopping malls and hospitals. Ramberg's offices are a good example of how they have used the correct colors in a correct way, Egge concludes.
