LEED

As the industry transitions to LEEDv5, a few key changes impact ceilings. This includes the prioritization of the Low Emitting Materials credit such as GREENGUARD Gold, and the importance of verified sustainability documents, such as Cradle to Cradle Product Circularity.

WELL

One of Rockfon’s key advantages in WELL v2 Standard is our ability to achieve Low VOC requirements for ceiling tiles with an NRC greater than 0.90 – without any upgrades or upcharges.

The West Memorial Building project stands out as one of the most highly recognized and forward-thinking architectural projects in the heart of Canada’s capital. After years of vacancy, the facility was given a new purpose to serve the next generation while honoring the building’s legacy.

The design project team, including EllisDon, Groupe Piché, Morin Supply, and architectural firms Moriyama Teshima, Kasian Architecture, Interior Design and Planning, and ERA Architects, began construction in 2020 with the building expected to open its doors in Fall 2026.
