Rockfon® Plenum Barrier Board™
Rockfon® Plenum Barrier Board™ is a stone wool noise blocking panel, which is installed vertically over interior partitions inside ceiling plenums, under partitions in raised-floor plenums or laid horizontally on top of ceiling panels to increase sound isolation and privacy between rooms. Plenum Barrier Board and ceiling panel combined solutions can achieve system CAC ratings up to 58.

About Rockfon® Plenum Barrier Board™
Rockfon® Plenum Barrier Board™ is a noise blocking panel manufactured with a 1.5” thick stone wool core and a fiber-reinforced foil facing on one side. The 24” wide x 48” long boards are lightweight, easy to cut and can be installed vertically and quickly in suspended ceiling or raised floor plenums above or below interior partitions. Rockfon Plenum Barrier Board can also be laid directly on top of Rockfon stone wool ceiling panels. When combined with Rockfon ceiling panels, Rockfon Plenum Barrier Board can achieve Ceiling Attenuation Class ratings of CAC 40 to CAC 58 to match the Sound Transmission Class ratings of partitions between 40-58.
