The 490.00 Hold-Down Clip is an acoustical tile and suspension system accessory that installs over the cross tees to hold down ceiling panels up to ¾”. This versatile accessory is required for CDX & SCD edge ceiling panels, and required in seismic D, E and f zones when installing CDX edge ceiling panels. The clip is compatible with all Chicago Metallic™ suspension grid systems where positive retention on acoustical panels is needed without limiting ceiling access.
